The Final Chapter - travel update número ocho!

Hello again and welcome to the eighth and final travel update! 

After six weeks of travelling around Asia, our extended holiday (I'm not even gonna try and call it backpacking anymore...) has finally come to an end! I'm currently on the plane between Jakarta and Dubai and I'm very excited about getting home!

Hello again!! 

I'd like to say that I haven't blogged in a while because we've been so busy and having a whale of time, but we've really just been struck down by a rather persistent case of what I'm branding, "the Gili guts"...need I say any more?! 

Right, without further adieu, let's move to the Gili Islands (where the showers are cold salt water and you have to rinse off with a freezing cold bucket of fresh water - brrrrr!).

This is my current view from my spot on the beach on Gili Trawangan whilst I'm typing this post! 

It's been a while since I last posted, it turns out that it's actually not that easy to fit blogging time in between all of the things I want to blog about...first world problems eh?!
