The Travel Diary Lives On: Week Two in Thailand

Hello again!

I'm back with part two of my travel diary from my amazing holiday in Thailand - two posts in the space of a week - who am I?! If you haven't seen the first post yet (tut, tut!), you can access it here. Anyway, let's get back to it, even if it's gonna give me severe holiday blues!

Embracing the freckle monster look as the holiday progressed...

I left you with the fresh pancake maker just off of Bangla Walking Street after a fairly eye opening night out in Patong but now it's on to calmer things...sort of!

Did someone say travel diary? : Week One in Thailand

*dusts away cobwebs from thatdaniigirl.blogspot.co.uk*

Now there’s a URL I haven’t typed in an awfully long time…! A few weeks ago I was helpfully (embarrassingly) reminded by my friend Lucy that I hadn’t in fact put up a blog post since…December…eek! So yes, let’s brush your awareness of my awful consistency with blogging under the carpet and get on with it!

After nearly four months of apparently feeling no need to share my life with the Internet, I now have something interesting to share! Well, I hope it’s interesting! As I type I’m on a flight back to the UK from Thailand after the most amazing holiday with my parents, so I thought I’d go back to basics and do what I did whilst I was travelling last summer and give you all a little day by day run down of what we got up to. Sound good? No? Tough luck, it’s happening (please read on *insert puppy dog eyes here*)!

Food for thought: Street Food Cardiff at The Depot

Hello hello hello!

I know, I know, it's been ages since I last posted (again!). I really need to get better at this whole blogging malarkey...but whilst I've been away from the "blogosphere" I've been doing plenty of cool stuff to share with you all...honest! Prepare yourselves for a mouth watering read and only continue reading if you're prepared to suddenly feel rather hungry...like this little fella...

A long weekend across the pond: my New York City blog post!

Hello ladies and gentlemen!

You may remember me mentioning that I was going to spend the weekend in New York with my Mum as an early 21st birthday treat (my actual birthday is during uni term time so we had to go early). Well, that weekend has been and gone...and it was amazing! So I'd like to dedicate this blog post to filling you in on everything we got up to in the Big Apple! I invite you to live vicariously through me and enjoy a "virtual" long weekend in the city that never sleeps!

The Final Chapter - travel update número ocho!

Hello again and welcome to the eighth and final travel update!

After six weeks of travelling around Asia, our extended holiday (I'm not even gonna try and call it backpacking anymore...) has finally come to an end! I'm currently on the plane between Jakarta and Dubai and I'm very excited about getting home!

From Uluwatu to Ubud - travel update número seis!

Hello again!

This is my current view from my spot on the beach on Gili Trawangan whilst I'm typing this post!

It's been a while since I last posted, it turns out that it's actually not that easy to fit blogging time in between all of the things I want to blog about...first world problems eh?!

So, where did we leave off...ah yes, the temple!

An Idiot Abroad - travel update número cinco!

Hello again! (Still need to work on this opening - honestly, if anyone has any ideas, I'm open to all suggestions!)

I've only just managed to convince myself to get back to the keyboard after three whole days chilling at the hotel - this has definitely turned out to be the most relaxing part of the holiday so far!

Here's what we've been up to since Sunday!

A Balinese beauty - travel blog número cuatro

Hello you!

So I am now writing from Bali, Indonesia's own slice of paradise. I have to say that Bali is a place that I never really imagined I'd ever get to go. I've always thought of it as some super luxurious place, the setting of many a perfect picture featuring beautiful beaches, palm trees and stunning sunsets. But here I am, and for a whole month too! Feeling rather lucky...

Wanderlust takes hold - travel blog número uno!

Hello, me again!

So I'll post this blog when I land but I'm currently on a plane to Jakarta (being handed my free drink and mixed nuts) after spending the most amazing week in Hong Kong! I want to share all of the stuff I've been up to, so please forgive me for trying to turn into a travel blogger over night, I'm clueless. Really.

A very 'British' afternoon in Ely!

Me again! (That's getting a little repetitive isn't it? I'll have to think of a better way to start these posts!)

A couple of days ago my friend Alex and I spent the afternoon in Ely! We set off around midday into the Cambridgeshire sunshine (begrudgingly I might add, I would've been happy cuddling his dogs all day - I mean, look at them!?)

Recipe: Lemon Drizzle Loaf

I thought my next post should be short and sweet (see what I did there, cause it's a cake, get it?) considering I've rambled on more than I probably should've in the last few posts!

So, I'm going to share with you the recipe I used yesterday to make a seriously yummy lemon drizzle loaf cake.
